Yours truly starred opposite Braden Worton (“Hurry Hard”) in Layla El-Asri’s “Anatomy of a Brute,” a 10-minute short that was part of the Playtime festival at Theatre Burlington (May-June 2026). I played Mr. Fortran, a teach with a “secret weapon” he uses to engage Braden’s teenage character, Axel.

Review
 Playwright/director Layla El Asri’s Anatomy of a Brute is a cerebral piece that excavates ideas surrounding youth, opportunity, motivation and the labels that, once assigned, are difficult to dislodge. Beauchemin in particular keeps the audience’s attention as he and Worton parry and riposte.
